About Us

Founded in 2021, Timetanium Projects was built on our directors’ three decades of experience delivering major infrastructure programs across Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia. After years supporting Tier 1 contractors on complex rail, energy and mining projects, Timetanium was established to provide senior-level project controls support—without the bureaucracy and inflated costs typical of large consultancies.

With over 30 years’ combined experience in planning, cost, risk and scheduling for major infrastructure programs, our team includes AIPM-accredited project management professionals with PMI qualifications in planning and scheduling. We’re trusted by repeat clients including ARTC, CPB Contractors, UGL, Downer and Queensland government agencies who value our direct, accountable approach to project delivery.

Proven Delivery, Practical Outcomes

We bring structure and clarity that help teams deliver confidently, even under pressure. Our consultants don’t just produce reports—we embed within your team to solve real delivery problems, close planning gaps and protect critical milestones when timelines compress and scrutiny increases.

Direct Access to Senior Expertise

You work directly with senior professionals who provide clear advice and practical support. Unlike larger consultancies that assign junior staff behind layers of management, we give you immediate access to experienced project controls specialists who take ownership of outcomes from day one.

Specialist Time-Distance Planning Capability

We’re one of only a handful of Australian consultancies who excel at time-distance planning for rail, road and pipeline projects. This specialist capability transforms complex linear infrastructure schedules into clear visual plans that improve staging decisions, interface management and progress tracking across entire corridors—a skill that’s in high demand but rarely available.

Agile, Scalable Network Model

We scale quickly by mobilising a trusted network of senior planners, schedulers, cost controllers and risk specialists to match project needs. This flexible model means you can access dependable, senior-level capability without the overhead, bureaucracy or inflated costs that come with engaging large consulting firms for the same resources.

Clients

Project Planning and Scheduling

Clear, practical programs that align scope, sequencing and resources from day one. Planning is built for real delivery conditions, so teams can manage interfaces, track progress and keep work moving when timeframes tighten.

Cost Engineering and Control

Cost visibility that supports confident decisions. From early estimates through to forecasting and performance reporting, budgets stay credible and emerging cost exposure is identified early to protect value for money.

Strategic Risk Management

A practical, delivery-focused approach to identifying, prioritising and managing project risk. Our practitioners apply structured risk frameworks aligned to program, approvals and access strategies—ensuring risks are understood in terms of real schedule and delivery consequence. Through targeted workshops, quantified risk assessment and active mitigation planning, teams gain earlier visibility of threats, stronger governance control and clearer decision-making under pressure.

Project Controls Integration

A connected view of schedule, cost and risk in one place. Better alignment across controls improves forecasting, speeds up decision making and gives leadership clear insight into performance and priority actions.

Resource Placement

Senior project controls support, mobilised quickly when capability gaps appear. Flexible resourcing helps Tier 1 contractors and government teams scale up with dependable professionals, without adding complexity.

Capability Statement

Our work speaks for itself

The Wave Stage 1 Brownfield

Timetanium provided embedded project controls support during the tender phase for a complex brownfield infrastructure upgrade. A key focus was the development of all program-specific tender deliverables, including schedule risk analysis (SRA), time–chainage planning and supporting program narratives. This was underpinned by constructability planning, staging development and schedule risk assessment to inform delivery strategy, pricing and risk position.

Logan to Gold Coast Faster Rail

Timetanium provided an embedded Planning Manager within the client’s team, leading a multi-disciplinary planning function responsible for development and maintenance of the contract program. Services included schedule governance, progress assessment, interface coordination and performance reporting to support delivery certainty.

Senex Energy 60PJ Program

Timetanium provided cost engineering and commercial controls support for a major gas infrastructure expansion program. Services included cost forecasting, performance reporting and early identification of emerging cost exposure to support informed commercial decision-making and value-for-money outcomes.

Industries we serve

Deep Expertise Across Infrastructure
and Resources

Transport Infrastructure (Rail, Road, Tunnels)

We provide planning, scheduling and time-distance mapping expertise for linear infrastructure projects. Our consultants have supported major rail upgrades, road corridors and tunnelling programs across Queensland and nationally, delivering control when timelines are critical.

Mining and Resources

Across mining and resources, we support teams with project controls that surface capital exposure early and support confident decisions. Our experience spans exploration through to development and production, including cost engineering and schedule risk analysis.

Oil & Gas

Oil and gas developments demand disciplined controls to keep forecasts credible and procurement decisions informed. Timetanium supports both onshore and offshore programs where strong financial governance and compliance are essential.

Energy and Renewables

We help renewables and power infrastructure clients plan and control delivery risk, with strong cost discipline throughout. Work spans battery storage, solar, wind and grid connection, where interfaces and approvals can quickly add complexity.

Government (State and Local)

Queensland government agencies and councils rely on clear project controls to keep infrastructure programs moving, from bid support through to day-to-day delivery. We understand panel requirements, procurement processes and local content obligations for Olympics-related work.

Health & Education (Emerging)

As Queensland invests heavily in health and education infrastructure, we’re extending our support into these sectors. We bring the same disciplined project controls used in transport and energy to improve delivery certainty and governance.
